FOOD FOR THOUGHT

I love when peeps share stuff with me!  Jamie just posted a comment on my site and the timing couldn't have been more perfect for me, so I figured it may hit home for some of you as well.  It read... "I want to pass on a quote that is by an unknown author. It is so wise..and yet so simple. People my whole life have told me I have to be more aggressive, be more bold. I used to feel bad that somehow I was lacking. It hasn’t been but the last few years that I started to like that I was meek, liked who I was. I feel like I have been “feeding” that character all my life.. You have to read the quote to understand what I mean."

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a debate that goes on inside people. He said,”My son, the battle between two wolves is inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The grandson thought about this for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Listen up peeps.  The more you give something energy, the more you get of that very same thing so if you want positive people and experiences in your life feed that and starve the negative.  Join me in making it a habit to ask yourself every day, "Which wolf do I want to feed?"

Thanx Jamie for sharing this with us.
